Kent Telfer Damon and Nancy Carlsson-Paige welcomed Matthew Paige Damon into the world on October 8, 1970 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the United States. Kyle Damon, his older brother, is his name. His parents divorced when he was around two years old, so Matt and his brother moved in with their mother. Childhood buddies Matt and actor Ben Affleck are now close.
